Solo performance featuring homebuilt percussion instruments, electronics, theremin and Tuvan throat singing.

For the last year, Klimchak and Alexandria Smith have been developing a unique musical language using Percussion, Trumpet and Electronics. They  will engage in improvised expression exploring timbre, perception, communication, and reflection. Also features music by Ladonna Smith, Play Place, Kyle Kessler, and T. Rouss.

Klimchak will perform improvised duets with trumpeter Alexandria Smith and with flautist/vocalist Emily Hay. Klimchak will also perform a series of solo pieces for a variety of instruments including homebuilt percussion, electronics, theremin, a bunch of cowbells, gongs, flutes  and daxophone.
