On Sunday, February 3rd, 2019, I finished up a 2 week residency at the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center with a lecture/demo about my artistic methods and practices. The series, called the Bolder Talk series, is a part of all residences at the Center.
I talked about improvisation and demonstrated my soundscapes box, the NatSOT 1
Demoed my homebuilt Jaltarang, which is made up of a series of tuned rice bowls (selected thru many hours in Asian markets with sticks and a tuner)
And did an illustration of improvisation by performing my piece: Waaayyy Too Much Cowbell.
