in April, 2016, I am going to be a part of the Theater Emory production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. I am acting as Hymen, the God of marriage. My character will also play music inspired by burning man to define him. So the original music that I am composing will be for me entering on a giant cart covered with drums, gongs and tuned circular saw blades. Big entrance, right?
Here are some images of my first design for the instruments to be mounted on the cart. Eventually, the cart will also have a theremin and an early 20th century instrument called a Ukelin on it as well.
